<p>The invention provides novel methods for making and using array-based nucleic acid hybridization substrates comprising non-covalently associated nucleic acids. The invention also provides nucleic acid arrays comprising a solid surface comprising a plurality of discrete biosites comprising a non-covalently associated nucleic acid.
