摘要 The selected operational state is a no-load operation in which the IC engine is operated without lambda regulation. The fuel reducing amount is used as the deviating signal which considers a no-load operation regulator when controlling the IC engine to compensate for the hydrocarbon stream introduced to the combustion process with the flushing stream. Regenerating an activated charcoal container which adsorbs gaseous hydrocarbons produced in a fuel tank comprises regenerating the container in a selected operational state of the IC engine; feeding a flushing stream with hydrocarbons from the container into a suction tract of the engine downstream of a throttle valve and introducing to the combustion process; evaluating the deviating signal which is used as a measure for the hydrocarbon stream contained in the flushing stream and from which the degree of loading of the container is determined. The selected operational state is a no-load operation in which the IC engine is operated without lambda regulation. The fuel reducing amount is used as the deviating signal which considers a no-load operation regulator when controlling the IC engine to compensate for the hydrocarbon stream introduced to the combustion process with the flushing stream.
