<p>The invention concerns a novel effect of the vasoactive intestinal response (VIP) on its receptors showing that VIP and its antagonists exhibit novel therapeutic uses. It is shown that VIP induces maturation of dendritic cells and thereby promotes the development of a specific immune response.</p> |
