The tensioning device has an eccentric (4) attached to the switching shaft (1) for cooperating with the switch drive spring (8), for tensioning the latter via a cog wheel (9) of a cog drive mounted on the switching shaft and driven electrically or via a handcrank. The cogwheel is separated from the drive when the spring is fully tensioned via a freewheel coupling (10).
