Optical waveguide arrangement includes a photosensitive section (30) with refractive index varying on exposure to ultraviolet beam and a part forming a base (10) for the photosensitive material. An anti-reflection layer (15) is included between the base (10) and the photosensitive section (30). An Independent claim is included for the corresponding method of making the optical waveguide arrangement.
