The flap valve is connected directly to the outlet opening (2) or the outlet pipe of a liquid container (1), has an integrally plastics injection moulded valve housing (4) as well as a handle (7) rotatably mounted in the upper part (5) of the valve housing (4) for operation of a shaft (8), on which a circular shaped flap (9) for opening and closing a cylindrical through flow passage (10) in the lower part of the valve housing (4) is fitted. The through flow passage (10) of the valve housing (4) forms a seat (11) with a ball geometry for the flap (9) rotatable about a vertical axis (13-13) perpendicular to the longitudinal axis (12-12) of the through flow passage (10) in its closing position (9a). |
