PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vacuum cleaner provided with a small operation means for reliably outputting a prescribed current value to a control means corresponding to set operation. SOLUTION: A circuit part 24 is formed by providing a circuit pattern 23 which is obtained by printing, baking and plating conductive paste to a thin-film synthetic resin substrate and has plural pairs of electrodes 22. Resistance elements 27 are provided at a terminal part 26, which projects in the state of a tongue at one end of the part 24 and is provided with terminals 25 for soldering a lead wire, opposed to each electrode 22 by printing and baking. A notch part is provided by trimming at trimming parts 29 corresponding to the resistance elements 27 of the pattern 23. A switching substrate 15 is formed by connecting a name plate obtained by print-forming a display part for displaying the contents of the driving state of an electric blower 2 and a conductive part for short-circuiting between electrodes 22 on a flexible film with a circuit substrate 16. Miniaturization is realized by print-forming. Malfunction is prevented by reliably outputting a prescribed current value by adjusting a resistance value by trimming.
