PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a legless chair in which the angle of the back rest can be continuously adjusted by simple operation, and which has no danger of the sudden fall of the backrest and is profitable in terms of production costs. SOLUTION: Connection parts 3A and 3B between a seat side metal fitting 11 of a seat frame 1 and a back side metal fitting of a back frame 2, outer gears 6a, inner gears 6b, and rotary operation shafts 7A and 7B which penetrate both the gears 6a and 6b constitute a taumel mechanism, and a concentric shaft part 71 and an eccentric shaft part 72 for a rotary shaft line are formed between opposing flange parts 8A and 8B of the shafts 7A and 7B. The outer gear 6a and the inner gear 6b are sandwiched between both the flanges 8A and 8B in the engaged state, and the concentric shaft part 71 is fitted to one of the gears 6a and 6b, and the eccentric shaft part 72 is fitted to the other, and the back frame is inclined in the front and rear directions by rotary operation of the shaft 7A.
