PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make a piece of furniture compact in structure by adopting a unique mechanism wherein a box is drawn forwardly along rails like a drawer and then moved downwardly through 1 inks. SOLUTION: This furniture is composed of a furniture frame 1 opening at a front surface thereof and a housing box 2 housed in the furniture frame 1. Extension rails 3 capable of extending in front of the furniture frame are installed on inner surfaces 1a of this furniture frame 1, the housing box 2 is installed such that it can move vertically at its drawn position through links 4, 4 made to be rotatable within the scope of a predetermined angle with regard to slide rails 3b of these extension rails 3.
