PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a rodenticidal vinyl chloride resin composition which exhibits more improved rodenticidal effect than in the past, sustains the effect and is capable of controlling the damage due to rats over a long period of time by kneading vinyl chloride resin with a mixture between microencapsulated capsaicin and microencapsulated isothiocyanic acid-based substance. SOLUTION: This rodenticidal vinyl chloride resin composition is obtained by kneading (A) vinyl chloride resin with a mixture between (B) microencapsulated capsaisin (sharp taste component of Capsicum annum.) and (C) a microencapsulated isothiocyanic acid-based substance (sharp taste component of mustard). Further, when a phthalic acid-based ester plasticizer and/or adipic acid-based polyester plasticizer, a barium zinc stabilizer and the mixture between the components A and B are formulated in proportions of 20-100 pts.wt., 3-10 pts.wt. and 0.3-5.0 pts.wt., respectively, based on 100 pts.wt. of the component A, capsaicin and an isothiocyanic acid-based substance are preferably prevented from exuding on the surface of the composition to be diluted. |
