<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a composition which is free from phase separation and oil release and is excellent in cosmetics characteristics by incorporating an oxyalkylene-group-containing crosslinked solid organopolysiloxane elastomer and a water-soluble or water-swellable polymer into a physiologically tolerable medium. SOLUTION: Preferably, a surfactant is incorporated into this composition, Preferably, the organopolysiloxane elastomer contains at least one oxyethylene group and still preferably, contains an oxyethylene group (or groups) alone as the oxyalkylene group (or groups). Preferably, the elastomer is one obtained by the addition reaction and crosslinking of an organopolysiloxane of which each molecule has two vinyl groups at theα- andω-positions of a silcone chain with an organopolysiloxane of which each molecule has at least one H atom and at least one oxyalkylene group in a nonaqueous medium in the presence of a catalyst, Preferably, the polymer is a carboxyvinyl polymer, a cationic polymer, or the like.</p> |
