PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus which can produce an elastic composite sheet in a minimum process without deteriorating the feel of the sheet. SOLUTION: In an apparatus 1 in which a pair of rolls 1a, 1b which are arranged opposite to each other is provided, a non-expandable sheet 3 and an expandable sheet are supplied to the contact part between the rolls 1a, 1b, and the sheets 1a, 1b are joined together, the roll 1a has numbers of projections 7 extending outside in the diameter direction of the roll 1a on its circumferential surface, the roll 1b has numbers of grooves extending inward in the diameter direction of the roll 1b on its circumferential surface, when the projections 7 and the grooves 8 are engaged with each other, clearances are formed between the projections 7 and the grooves 8, and while a lot of pulse-shaped crest parts extending in one direction and a lot of smooth trough parts extending between the crest parts and the trough parts are formed in the sheet 2, the trough parts of the sheet 2 are joined to the sheet 3. |
