PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a small bell and a small bell cap, in which the wear loss on respectively sheet surfaces of the small bell lower part and the small bell cap lower part in a furnace top charging device of a blast furnace is reduced and also, even in the case of reaching worn limit, these can be reused by repairing. SOLUTION: Related to the small bell lower part 2 and the small bell cap lower part, a main body is made of a steel and rough-machining for arranging a build-up welding layer 6 on the sheet surface is executed. Successively, a hardened build-up welding, with which carbides are dispersed in a deposited metal and the vickers hardness on the deposited metal is made to >=800, is executed. Further, the finish-machining on the sheet surface is executed and thereafter, sealing treatment for burying gap by penetrating the welded crack generated on the sheet surface is executed.
