PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a magnesium-containing liquid compound fertilizer excellent in preservation stability without any visible formation of precipitates so as to cause solid-liquid separation for a long period. SOLUTION: This magnesium-containing liquid compound fertilizer satisfies the following requirements (1) to (4): (1) 2.5-10 (AN+K2O)/MgO (molar ratio) (with the proviso that AN denotes ammonia nitrogen), (2) 1-4 P205/MgO (molar ratio), (3) nitrogen, phosphoric acid and potassium are contained in each amount of >=8 wt.% expressed in terms of N, P2O5 and K2O and the total amount thereof is 32-40 wt.% and (4) 1-4 wt.% MgO expressed in terms of magnesium.
