PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable opening/closing of a door and loading/unloading of freight from the top of a container by forming the container having the top door. SOLUTION: A container is formed so that screw shafts 2 continue to rotate in either one of directions, right and left, by the operation of gear changeover switches 11 having ratchet handles 5 and by the operation of continuing to rotate the ratchet handles 5 in either a left or right direction. Thus, screw nuts 3 provided over the screw shafts 22 move up while ascending the screw shafts 2, thereby opening the door plates 1. Also, the door plates 1 can be closed by operating the gear changeover switches 11, thereby switching to a reverse rotation direction, and by moving down the screw nuts 3 and arms 6. Thus, the top door can be opened/closed in an ordinary position on the ground, and freight can be loaded/unloaded from the top of the container.
