PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To effectively mitigate an impact force applied to a body during a front collision of an automobile. SOLUTION: A front part of a body frame 2 is provided with a pair of right and left side members 12 and 12 constituting each right and left side parts of the body frame 2 and extending in fore and aft directions, a cross member 13 extending in a width direction of a body 1 with end parts 13a each supported by front faces of front end parts of each side member 12 and 12, and a reinforcement material 31 interposed between the front faces of the front end parts of each side member 12 and 12 and each end part 13a of the cross member 13. One part of each end part 13a of the cross member 13 is used as a protruding part 13c protruding outward of the body 1 than the front end parts of the side members 12 and 12. Outer side parts of the reinforcement material 31 are extended in the width direction of the body 1 to protruding ends of the protruding parts 13c of the cross member 13.
