PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the generation of a deteriorated resin and to enable the long-time continuous operation of an extrusion molding machine. SOLUTION: Inert gas supply means 10, 11, 12, 13 are provided in the vicinity of the outlet of a raw material hopper 1 to continuously supply inert gas. By excluding oxygen present in the periphery of a raw material before a raw material resin and a foaming agent are heated and kneaded in a screw part 3, the generation of a deteriorated resin caused by the deterioration of the raw material resin and the foaming agent is prevented and the stop of operation for cleaning a machine over a long time can be omitted.
