A vehicle steering wheel security device comprises inner and outer semi-circular members which can be locked together, such as with a separate padlock, so as to prevent access to the steering wheel. The inner member can pivot about a central point so that when not in use the inner member may rotate inside the outer member to reduce the space required to store the security device. A tab may be provided on the inner member to assist in its rotation, and an additional horizontal arm may be provided so as to increase security.
