PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an easily releasable and openable lid with which a flanged portion of a food container or the like is sealed, whose sealing properties and unsealing properties are both improved, and which further dispenses with an overcap or the like in heating. SOLUTION: An easily releasable and openable lid 1 is composed of an outer layer member 9 having a size large enough to close an open end of a container 2 and an inner layer member 8 which is laminated on the outer layer member 9 and with which a flanged portion 3 of the open end is sealed in the state of closing the open end, and a bonding strength between the inner layer member 8 and the outer layer member 9 is set lower than that between the inner layer member 8 and the flanged portion 3. Easily openable portions 19, 20 are formed on the inner layer member 8 in such a manner as to be opened partly prior to other portions according to an increase of the internal pressure of the container 2.
