PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a showcase whose decorative member can go up and down with a case body between the grounding position and the position to which the grounding member goes up by providing a grounding member at the lower end of the decorative member and selectively connecting the decorative member and the case body. SOLUTION: A showcase has an X-link mechanism 5 as a lift mechanism which can raise and lower a case body 2 against a dolly and open and close a display space S. When a decorative member 4 is raised with the case body 2 by engaging engaging claws 72 with engaging grooves 71 by operating an operating lever 74, and operating to rotate an operating handle 55 of the X-link mechanism 5 so that the X-link rises, an adjuster 44 goes up from the floor F and a caster 34 comes to the ready-to-run condition. The case body 2 and the decorative member 4 are lowered to the lowest position to return to the original stable grounding condition by operating to rotate the operating handle 55 from this condition so that the X-link descends. It is easy to change the display by raising the case body 2 from this condition and to take the ready- to-run condition for the showcase 1 by making the adjuster 44 go up from the floor F.
