PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inexpensive automatic pedal for a bicycle with small number of parts items provided with a simple shaft fixing means to a pedal body. SOLUTION: A pedal body 1 is provided with a fixed front hook 2 engaged with a fixing plate fixed to the bottom part of bicycle shoes, and a rear hook 2 which is supported by an oscillating lever 5 connected to the pedal body 1 through a support body 6, and always energizes toward a fixing position of the shoes in conjunction with an elastic mean 11. The front and rear hooks 2, 3 cooperate with each other to hold the fixing plate of the shoes on a support face 4 provided on a top surface of the pedal. The elastic mean includes a curved elastic part 11 cooperating with the oscillating lever 5. The curved elastic part 11 is connected through a lock fixing mean 14 with a pedal shaft 13 which can be connected to a crank of a crank set. |
