PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate work for separating manually work materials brought into a such condition as they are adhered each other to underside one because of pile-up, when the piled-up materials such as steel piles are suspended. SOLUTION: This suspension tool is provided with a lever member 1 and a holding member 2, a tip part of the lever member 1 is inserted into a clearance between work materials Pa and Pb in a pile of the work materials, an end part of the material Pa of a suspending object is held onto the holding member 2 to be lifted by a lifting equipment via a suspension part 7 in a condition hereinbefore, a tip part of the lever member 1 is thereby brought into press-contact with the material Pb in an underside of the material Pa to act leverlike therearound as a fulcrum, and separating force for separating the material Pa from the material Pb is applied to the material Pa by the leverlike action therein.
