摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce internal noises of an elevator car according to the disturbance of an air flow with an inexpensive structure by providing a cushioning material on and near the re-attachment point of the air flow generated in the high-speed rising and falling of the car on at least one side within the range extending from the upper layer part of the elevator car outer wall surface to the lower layer thereof. SOLUTION: When an elevator car 2 is raised and lowered at a high speed, most of different air flows is collected and re-attached to the vicinity of a point K, and the collision energy by this re-attachment of the air flows concentrically strikes the surface of a rectifying cover 4, whereby a noise is generated. Paying attention to the point K and vicinity thereof where the air flow is re- attached, a strip cushioning material 5 is stuck limitedly to the side wall part of the rectifying cover 4. As the cushioning material 5, glass wool with a good sound absorbing characteristic and high damping effect is preferably used. According to this, even if the elevator speed is further increased, the energy exciting the outer walls of the straightening cover 4 and the car 2 can be moderated to reduce the internal noise of the car 2.
