<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve appearance and see-through properties by forming a hollow multilayer container of a laminate of a specific saponified ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer (layer) and a thermoplastic resin (layer). SOLUTION: To manufacture the hollow multilayer container useful for an application of a bottle-like container or a tubular container for a seasoning, a saponified ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer (EVOH) satisfying a formula: 0.05<=S1-S2, wherein S1 is a die swell value at a shearing speed of 1,800 sec-1 at a temperature higher by 30 deg.C than a melting point of the EVOH and S2 is a die swell value at a shearing speed of 20 sec-1 at a temperature higher by 50 deg.C than a melting point of the EVOH, and a thermoplastic resin are laminated to manufacture a multilayer parison, the parison is disposed in a mold, then fluid pressure of air, water or the like is blown in the mold to bring the parison into close contact within the mold, thereby molding the hollow container. As the EVOH, an EVOH having an ethylene content of 20 to 60 mol% and the degree of saponification of 90 mol% or more is used.</p> |
