PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent deterioration in control precision and achieve efficient increase in an engine output as well as reduction of fuel consumption by suppressing variations in operating angles due to reaction force torque caused by valve spring reaction force and the like which is transmitted from an engine side to a control shaft, under the control where the operating angle of the control shaft is fixed. SOLUTION: This variable valve system has a first current control amount calculation means B4 by which current controllability is calculated based on a target control shaft operating angle and a target operating angle determined by a target operating angle calculation means B3 with reference to a standard model on operating angle control response of a control shaft. Further, the system has a second current control amount calculation means B7 by which control amount of current to prevent effects from reaction force torque is calculated based on deviation between a standard model calculated by a standard model calculation means B5 based on a target control shaft operating angle, and an actual operating angle of the control shaft detected by an operating angle detection means B6. Moreover, the system has PWM output setting means B8 for converting the total of both control amounts of current into a motor driving signal.
|
