PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pallet in which hooks arranged at both ends of a pallet belt are prevented from protruding out of beams of the pallet so as to form a dead space when collapsing of cargoes is to be prevented. SOLUTION: This pallet has a front surface side deck board 1, a rear surface side deck board 2, and a plurality of cylindrical beams 3, 4 for connecting the front surface side deck board 1 with the rear surface side deck board 2. A fork insertion hole 5 is formed between the cylindrical beams 3, 4. In this case, beam walls 31 of the cylindrical beams 3, 4 are recessed inwardly to form the notches 6 at the opposing positions around them, and a pallet engaging segment 64 comprised of a horizontal plate 61 and a bent segment 63 bent at the extremity end of the horizontal plate 61 is formed within the notch.
