PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a brake abnormality detecting mechanism which can precisely detect a biassed brake phenomenon such that right and left brake forces are different from each other, and a brake control device provided therewith. SOLUTION: A yawing sensor (yawing detecting means) 23 for detecting the yawing of a vehicle is provided, and if the yawing direction detected by the yawing sensor 23 is the same and yaw rate is within a certain range for a preset reference number of times of braking action in succession, a controller 22 determines that a biassed brake phenomenon is occurring.
