PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate troubles such that the initial investment cost is expensive, the productivity is poor and the production of many varieties in small quantities can not be easily achieved when stocks are formed in a small number of process. SOLUTION: A method for batch production of works in a plurality of forming processes by a transfer press comprises a process to divide the forming process into a primary forming and a secondary forming a process to transport primary stocks after the works for the primary forming are completed to a transfer press 1 having a plurality of working stations W1, W2, a process to exchange a die for the primary forming in the transfer press 1 for a die for the secondary forming after the primary forming is completed, and a process for the secondary forming by transporting the primary stocks to the transfer press 1 again after exchanging the die for the secondary forming. Since the transfer press 1 having only a small process number is initially installed, the initial investment cost can be significantly reduced, the productivity is improved for the forming in the processes small in number through the batch production, and the production of many varieties in small quantities can be easily achieved.
