PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the staining of clothing when using a toilet seat by providing the front end of the toilet seat of a flush toilet bowl with a cover for covering the outer periphery of the toilet bowl when using the toilet seat. SOLUTION: The lid 4 is rotatably disposed at lid shaft supporting projections 5 and 6 disposed at the base of a main body section 2 of the toilet seat. The toilet seat 2 is made usable by raising the lid 4 to a tank side. The main body section 2 of the toilet seat and the cover part 3 of the toilet seat are integrally molded and completely cover the front surface side of the toilet bowl 1 in a use state. In the case of the conventional flush toilet, there is a possibility that the front surface of the toilet bowl, the floor just before the toilet bowl, etc., may be contaminated in the use state of the male and also there is a possibility that the contact of part of the clothing with the front surface of the toilet bowl, the floor just before the toilet bowl, etc., is resulted in the state of going to the toilet by using the toilet seat. Since the toilet seat is, however, provided with the cover 3 to cover the outer periphery at the front end of the toilet bowl 1, the contaminating of the clothing when using the toilet seat 2 is prevented.
