PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a small-sized cabbage harvester capable of holding the harvested cabbage, coping with lateral inclination of the field surface and allowing the ride of the operator. SOLUTION: The harvesting part of the small-sized cabbage harvester is provided with a pair of right and left raking devices attached to the front end of the machine and raking the cabbage according to the forward motion of the machine, a transfer apparatus positioned subsequent to the raking device, pulling out and clamping the raked cabbage and transferring backward and a cutting apparatus placed under the transfer apparatus and cutting the unnecessary part of the cabbage. (1) A pair of right and left crawlers 20 are used as the traveling apparatus and a container holding table 18 for holding a container to store the harvested cabbages is placed at the right and left sides of the harvesting part. (2) An engine 17 is placed at a side of the harvesting part 15. (3) Each of the right and left traveling apparatuses 20 is provided with a lift-controlling function 20a to keep the horizontal state of the machine even on a laterally inclined field surface. (4) A step 19 enabling the ride of an operator A is placed at the rear end of the harvesting part 15 in a state swivelable between using position and non-using position.
