PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a die opening/closing device for a bottle making machine which allows the simple exchange of respective parts, such as link mechanisms, in case of the occurrence of wear in these parts, facilitates speed control and is excellent in the reproducibility thereof. SOLUTION: This die opening/closing device opens and closes halved dies 17 of the bottle making machine by holding the respective dies in a pair of opening/closing arms 51, interlocking turning shafts 55 via links 53 to each of a pair of the opening/closing arms 51, and turning the pair of the opening/ closing arms 51 by driving the respective turning shafts 55 by means of actuators. In such a case, the actuators are composed of servo motors 63A forming a pair with the turning shafts 55.
