PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a microbicidal or bacteriostatic agent for industrial use which increases microbicidal effect, improves the sustainability of the effect and exhibits elongation effect on growth inhibitory time by combining two kinds of widely known microbicides for industrial use with a small amount of methylene bisthiocyanate. SOLUTION: This microbicidal or bacteriostatic agent for industrial use is obtained by including (a) 2,2-dibromo-3-nitropropionamide, (b) a bromine- containing polyacetoxyalkylene derivative selected from 1,2- bisbromoacetoxyethane, 1,2-bisbromoacetoxypropane, 1,2,3-trisbromo- acetoxypropane or 1,4-bis(bromoacetoxy)-2-butene and (c) methylene bisthiocyanate in a proportion of exhibiting synergic effects. The industrial microbicidal or bacteriostatic method is provided by using the microbicidal or bacteriostatic agent. |
