PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To save labor for respectively designing an intake duct and a whole Helmholtz resonator for different vehicle types and the like, in a structure for reducing engine intake noise of an automobile and the like. SOLUTION: In this intake noise reduction structure. an adjusting member 6 which consists of a short pipe 7 provided with a flange 8 on its upper end is assembled to a neck portion 5 of a Helmholtz resonator 4 installed to an intake duct 1. In order to adapt this structure to various vehicle types and the like, only a diameter and length of the short pipe 7 of the adjusting member 6 are changed without respectively designing the intake duct 1 and the whole resonator 4.
