PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To stably support a spool for a fishing reel on a spool shaft. SOLUTION: A pool 2 having a fishing line-winding part 8 is constituted so as to be detached from a spool shaft 1 by pressing operation of a push button 15 for mounting/dismounting equipment installed in the front side of the spool 2. The spool 2 has a small diameter part 12 on the tip side nearly from the winding part 8. The tip of the part 12 has a projection 16 which overlaps with the button 15 in its radial direction when the button is in a non- operation condition, and the spool 2 engages with the spool shaft 1 in a fitted state in all longitudinal inner surface of the part 12.
