PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prolong the execution time of continuous computerized tomography and to retain necessary projection data. SOLUTION: A ring buffer region having a memory capacity to store the projection data of the angle required for reconstituting at least one image and a normal buffer region having a memory capacity to store the projection data of the angle required for reconstituting many images are set in the collected projection data memory region of a memory section 24 in this device. When the projection data collected by a scanner section 11 are not required to be retained, the projection data are stored in the ring buffer region while being updated, and an image is reconstituted and displayed on an image display section 26 each time the projection data for one image are stored. When projection data are required to be retained, the projection data are stored in sequence without being rewritten in the normal buffer region, and an image is reconstituted and displayed on the image display section 26 each time the projection data for one image are stored.
