PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a device from becoming complicated in surface or becoming large in size, and increasing in cost, as well as to secure sufficient time to eliminate static sufficiently. SOLUTION: In this static eliminator 10, a stopper-cum-conductor ring 26 which stops a conveyed article 18 by abutting the front end surface 18a of the conveyed article 18 allowable to be charged and conveyed by a conveyer 16 in the rising time, and can abut the lower surface 18b of the conveyed article 18 in the falling time, a ring driving means 22 which holds and moves the stopper-cum-conductor ring 26 up and down, and a line form earthing means 36 whose one end is conducted to the stopper-cum-conductor ring 26, while its other end is conducted to an earthing member 14, are provided.
