PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lid body for heat-insulating container which is excellent in an external appearance and capable of preventing intrusion of water or the like, and also to provide a method for manufacturing thereof. SOLUTION: A plate-like member made of a specified thermoplastic resin is prepared. Then, a thermocompression processing is applied with a mold wherein protuberant parts 31a, a cover part, a drink holder 33 and the like are shaped. The thermoplastic resin plate is molded by the thermocompression processing and thereby a lid body 3 formed integrally of a lid main body and the cover part is manufactured. As occasion demands, a leather sheet, a nonwoven fabric, a woven fabric or a cloth made up by coating the aforementioned materials with PVC may be stuck to the molded lid body 3. The cloth may be stuck to the surface only or both of the surface and the reverse side. |
