PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a submergence prevention device for a vehicle capable of opening a window pane only by controlling a switch on the assistant driver's seat side even when a power window is locked in the driver's seat side, in the case the vehicle is submersed. SOLUTION: A submergence prevention device for a vehicle is equipped with a submergence detection 11 having a submergence detection device WS1 for detecting a submerged state and a lock releasing switch circuit 15 for releasing a window lock in the case of submergence, a submerged back-up circuit 10 is so controlled that a window can be opened by turning a control switch ASSW1 on, and when the control switch ASSW1 is turned off, it is so constituted that the window is controlled so as not to be closed. |
