摘要 <p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To attain a small size, low cost, low running cost and easy maintenance and control, and to enable high purification performance of nitrogen and phosphorus components by providing the subject device with perpendicularly arranged carriers adhered with algae to allow the algae to live and a water feed means for supplying the water of a water basin to the upper parts of these carriers and passing the water of the water basin to the carriers. SOLUTION: When raw water is sprayed through the water feed means, such as pump 2, and water feed piping 3 to the carriers 5 adhered with the filamentous algae 6 to allow the algae to live, the raw water comes into contact with a large quantity of air and can absorb the oxygen and carbon dioxide in the air. The oxygen and carbon dioxide necessary for the filamentous algae 6 and symbiotic microorganisms adhered thereto to maintain a high propagation rate are sufficiently supplied to the raw water by the improvement in the contact efficiency of the raw water and the air. While the raw water flows along the filamentous algae 6, the nitrogen, phosphorus components, and the like, included in the raw water are absorbed as nutrient sources and the nutrient salts included in the raw water are removed and immobilized, by which the water is purified. As a result, an extremely excellent water purification capability may be exhibited.</p>
