PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a transfer roller for transferring intermediate images of an intermediate recording body to recording papers from being stained in an image-forming apparatus which applies vibrations to a print head thereby cleaning openings of a control part. SOLUTION: The apparatus has a toner transfer roller 1 for holding and transferring a toner, a control plate 30 with a plurality of openings and an image signal electrode, an intermediate recording body 20 and a counter electrode 5 set sequentially. The apparatus is provided with a vibration transmission plate 15 for applying vibrations to separate the toner adhering to the control plate 30. When the toner separated from the control plate 30 and adhered onto the intermediate recording body 20 passes a transfer mechanism 40, a power source for a transfer roller 22 is turned off, and the transfer roller 22 is separated from a backup roller 21. |
