PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a peptide usable as a fluorescent substrate for visualization and analysis of a protein kinase A activity or a calcineurin activity by fluorescent labeling of the N-terminal end or the C-terminal end of a peptide having a specific amino acid sequence. SOLUTION: This peptide is obtained by fluorescent labeling of the N- terminal end or the C-terminal end of a peptide having an amino acid sequence of the formula ProXaaXaaXaaGluXaaIle-ArgArgArgArgProThrProAlaXaaCys (Xaa is an optional amino acid). Preferably, in the amino acid sequence, the second Xaa from the N-terminal end represents Arg, the third Xaa from the N-terminal end represents Glu, the forth Xaa from the N-terminal end represents Val, the sixth Xaa from the N-terminal end represents Met and the sixteenth Xaa from the N-terminal end represents Met.
