PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a front cowl capable of preventing penetration of heat from an interior of an engine room to the driver's seat and efficiently discharging the heat of the interior. SOLUTION: This front cowl is provided with an arced part 11 with the whole slightly curved, a swollen part 13 having an air passage formed thereon and provided with an air exhaust hole 12, an air inlet 14 formed near the inner side of the swollen part 13, and a recessed part 16 provided so as to form a slight slit in a space with a front glass side. A hole 15 for a wiper shaft to pass through is provided. Cooling inside an engine room is accelerated because air including hot air inside the engine room is drawn out by air flowing in from the air inlet 14 and discharged from the air exhaust hole 12 of the swollen part 13, and air discharged from the slit.
