PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To paste a sheet automatically to the rear side of a print surface by providing an adhesive layer forming means in a sheet carrying passage from a sheet feed section to a sheet discharge section and forming an adhesive layer at an arbitrary position on the surface of the sheet depending on the signal from imaging information or input information through a control means for the adhesive layer forming means. SOLUTION: A sheet S having sheet face printed by means of a printer is carried in from a sheet feed opening 142 and a document is carried in the direction of a paste tape head 10 in an adhesive layer forming means, i.e., a pasting unit, by means of sheet feed rollers 144 while directing the print face upward. A document position sensor 143 provided in the pasting unit detects forward end of the document and then the document is carried to a position for forming an adhesive layer and stopped thereat. Subsequently, a control means begins to form an adhesive layer a plurality of times in the carrying direction of the sheet S starting from a specified head position thus forming an adhesive layer of arbitrary area at an arbitrary position on the surface of the sheet S.
