PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an oil-water separator for drain discharged from compressed air, or in particular, from a compressed air dehumidifier, which enables prevention of failure of a drain trap from being caused and integration of such a compressed air dehumidifier with the separator and drain trap by using a system consisting of such an oil-water separator and a drain discharge mechanism and subjecting drain water accumulated on one side of the separator to adsorption treatment with an adsorption layer and thereafter discharging separated water through opening/closing operation of the drain discharge mechanism. SOLUTION: This oil-water separator 5 is provided with an oil-water separator outlet 6 placed in the upper part of the separator 5 and connected to the inlet of a solenoid valve type drain trap 7 that is a drain discharge mechanism, through the outlet 6, and further, consists of a pressure vessel 10 separable into two parts. This pressure vessel 10 is dividable into sections, namely, a drain reservoir 12, an adsorption layer 14 and a drain blowout space 16, by partition plates 15b, wherein the adsorption layer 14 is further divided into plural spaces by partition plates 15a and each of the divided spaces by the partition plates 15a and 15b is packed with an adsorbent 18. In the oil-water separator 5, when an amount more than specified of drain is accumulated in the drain reservoir 12, such an amount of drain accumulation is detected by a sensor and a solenoid valve of the drain trap 7 is opened accordingly to the indication from a controller.
