PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress the discharge of high-temperature steam while suppressing electric power consumption and driving sounds with simple constitution. SOLUTION: This rice cooker has steam discharge paths 8 and 9 and a blasting means 14 for forcibly mixing the outdoor air from an outdoor air introducing path 13 with the steam flowing in these paths and discharging the same outside. A mixing region 9 of the steam discharge paths 8 and 9 communicating with the outdoor air introducing path 13 is provided with a humidity sensor 10. The moisture detected by the moisture sensor 10 exceeds a set humidity, by which the blasting means 14 is driven.
