PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a seedling feeder for a rice transplanter which enables the mechanization of chemical spraying to be attained at a low cost and enables pest control/sterilization together with seedling supply to simultaneously be carried out in an excellent workability by installing a chemical spraying means. SOLUTION: In this seedling feeder for a rice transplanter equipped with seedling storage means for storing seedlings for the rice transplanter on plural tiers of shelves and equipped with at least one of a seedling-bringing means for bringing seedlings into each seedling-holding part of the seedling storage means and a seedling-taking means for taking seedlings out of each of the seedling-holding parts, a chemical spraying means B for spraying chemicals on seedlings is installed. The chemicals are sprayed on seedlings which are going to be brought in or taken out.
