PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a helmet capable of freely expanding and contracting and facilitating the storage and transportation by forming the helmet into a specific structure. SOLUTION: The helmet or the like is obtained by cutting an object in parts near both sides of the left and the right ears when wearing the existing helmet, etc., or a point located at a somewhat long distance from the central point of the radius in a lower straight-line part of a semicircular shape as a cutting position into a straight line at an obtuse angle, respectively dividing the cut object into an object A for the front located in the forehead part and an object B for the rear located in the occipital part, superimposing a part of rounded parts of the two objects A and B and arranging engaging devices D, E, F and G in each site of the upper parts near both the ears so that each of the two objects can freely be expanded and contracted.
