PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make the subject device inexpensive, easy to operate and durable by providing an elastic means to produce an urging force to rotate a link upward through a rod, namely to support the weight of a bather so that the urging force may act on the other end of the rod. SOLUTION: When a transport seat is lowered, it is pulled up by a lower support, a horizontal link, a bell crank and a longitudinal crank. In addition, in accordance with an ascending or descending position, the angle of linking action between a coil spring 29 and a shaft 27 displaces, namely, the angle formed by the direction of action of the elastic force of the coil spring 29 and the direction of extension of a rod 31 and the angle formed by the direction of extension of the rod 31 and the direction of extension of a lever 28 and the elastic force of the coil spring 29 change, whereby when the transport seat lowers sufficiently and dips into a bath, the moment of the coil spring 29 acting through the rod 31 and the lever 28 decreases in accordance with the size of float acting on the transport seat and maintains a bather in a state of soaking in a bath. |
