PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a grouting chemical composition excellent in low-temperature stability, low viscosity and operating and mixing efficiency, providing stable reactivity without being influenced by moisture in base rock and ground and useful for consolidat ing the base rock and ground with slight soil pollution and to provide a ground reinforc ing and water stop method of construction using the same. SOLUTION: This grouting chemical composition comprises (A) a polyisocyanate composition prepared by reacting (a) an organic polyisocyanate with (b) an active hydrogen group-containing compound containing >=5 mass% of oxypropylene units and containing NCO-terminated prepolymer, (B) an aqueous solution of a silicic salt and, as necessary, (C) an active hydrogen compound, (D) an amine catalyst and (E) a surfactant. (a) is (a1) diphenylmethane diisocyanate (MDI) and (a2) a polymeric MDI in (20:80) to (70:30) mass ratio and the mass constituent ratio (I+II):(III) of (I) 2,2'-MDI, (II) 2,4'-MDI and (III) 4,4'-MDI in a1 is (5:95) to (60:40). (b) contains (b1) a compound having >=76 and <300 number-average molecular weight and (b2) a compound having >=300 and <=10,000 number-average molecular weight. |
