PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a louvered window lattice which is simple in structure, manufactured at a low cost, and effective for crime prevention and disaster prevention, by slimming down the louvered window lattice so as to have a predetermined dimension, and forming blade louvers into a stopper for blocking movement and opening. SOLUTION: A louvered window lattice 10 set over a window of a building is manufactured by horizontally arranging a plurality of blade louvers 3 in parallel in a space defined by a head and a sill 1, 1, and right and left jambs 2, 2. Each of the louvered window lattice 10 and a peripheral frame 20 is slimmed down so as to have a thickness D of 30 to 60 mm. When the blade louvers 3 are rotated to change their angle, they collide with an intermediate plate 15 and the jamb 2 of the louvered window lattice 10 on the opposite side. Therefore, they can function as a stopper to block further movement or opening. Thus, the low-profile louvered window lattice 10 is applicable to every location, and has strength effective for crime prevention, and a function as an emergency exit, while having chick appearance. Further, the window bar is simple in structure and can be manufactured at low cost.
